John has over 30 years of experience in international project finance
and investment banking gained with some of the world's premier financial
institutions. This experience has been exclusively client driven and
transactional in nature and has usually involved kick starting or moving
business opportunities in a completely new or different direction. As a
consequence he is hands on and definitely not steady state. An aeronautical
engineer by background and banker by training he has in depth experience in
financing the energy and utility, transport, media and telecommunications sectors.
He has experience of dealing with every conceivable financing source
including corporations, governments, equity funds, commercial banks, export
credit agencies, supranationals and high yield investors. Having lived and
worked in London, Hamburg, Paris, New York, Rome, California and Melbourne
he is multilingual in varying degrees in French, German and Italian and
well versed in working in cross-cultural environments. Since returning to
the US in 2002 and becoming a U.S. citizen, he has advised the Chairman of
the California Power Authority and worked on PPP programs with State and
local governments in both California and Arizona. He lives in Prescott
Arizona and recently helped form Public Private Partnerships Arizona Inc.

interests include tennis, staying in shape, wine, almost anything to do
with computers, and keeping three Airedale terriers under control.
